Why Angelina Jolie is the Occidental Tantra Goddess

Angelina Jolie – a tantra goddess? Yes. In the truest tradition of tantra, her name itself conjures up visions of unbridled energy, untamed and yet powerful. The mention of Angelina Jolie is synonymous with passion, and none can ignore it. Every man would want her, and every woman secretly wants to be like her.
Long before Angelina Jolie stormed the world with her highly acclaimed role in the American television film Gia (1998), her smouldering sexuality, devilishly beautiful eyes and sensuous bee-stung lips had become bywords of sensuality. She infuses the power of sexuality in everything that she does.
Yes. To an experienced tantra teacher, Angelina Jolie is indeed the quintessential tantra goddess. She is clearly the defining part of any relationship that she may be in. The world has a wild and unstable image of her, but it can never pigeon-hole her. She is at once wild, untamed, sexual, nurturing, compassionate, loving, uncompromising, home-bound, nomadic, dominatrix – all rolled into one.
These are aspects of the image that she shows to the world, but her tantra vibrations are hard to conceal. Such vibrations drive us to our destinies whether we know it or not; whether we acknowledge them or not. Here is a woman who is highly aware of her inner self, of the Goddess within her, but a ’self’ that is not completely known to herself and certainly not to the world. The ‘real’ Angelina Jolie – the divine feminine behind the woman of the world – is one of those rare people who allow their inner divinity to come out.
All persons have myriad facets to their personalities, but few give expression to all. She does – and that is what makes her powerful, memorable and a celebration of feminine tantra energy. She is not a mere woman, but one totally unafraid to follow her mind and heart. She exudes class even as she blatantly tongues her lover, making the act shocking but not cheap. A tantra teacher can see that sexuality is inherent in her, and not a put-on. She may wear it on her sleeve, but she does not take it too seriously. It is second nature to her, not something that she is self-conscious about.
For Angelina Jolie, being sexy is as natural as being a mother, and she proves it as she continues to expand her multi-cultural family. She has shattered the stereotype of the sexual female – she is sexy and yet beyond sexiness, diving passionately into humanitarian work and imbibing it in her life.
In Brad Pitt, Angelina found what was missing in all her previous relationships. Unlike the men she had previously dated, Brad is not a macho, overtly sexual presence in her life. He has a comparatively soft aura and understated sexual energy. For once, a tantra goddess finds an energy that complements hers completely.
Her driving need to have a large family that embraces various cultures stems from the void in her heart created by her estrangement with her father. The lack of a strong father figure in her life led to a dangerously close relationship with her brother. Since that relationship would never have been accepted by society, Angelina Jolie was always left hungering for more. She did all that she could to get Brad away from his previous wife, Jennifer Aniston, and even today will not allow him to keep any relation with her. Her need for a good father for her children drew her to Brad, who always wanted children (while Jennifer never did).
If Angelina Jolie is a woman who shows what can be possible with even a half-realization of one’s true self, then her life is also proof of the follies one can commit if that realization is not complete. Tantra condemns taboo relationships within the family, but a proper understanding and complete realization of ancient tantra leads to a highly fulfilling life that not only holds adventure, but an all-embracing goodness.
Angelina Jolie is surely moving in that direction, but needs a deeper understanding of herself. Nevertheless, the tantra goddess in her can never be denied. Tantra aims to make a goddess out of every woman, especially one who is highly aware of her inner self, of the Goddess within her…..

Tantric Sex – Awakening The Female Super Orgasm

Woman is the embodiment of the Tantra Goddess, and her Shakti is unlimited. Tantra attributes to every woman an abundance of sexual spiritual energy, and wasting it is a serious transgression. As a woman’s shakti unfolds within her, her energy turns her into a divine priestess – and an empowered human-being.

As a rule, every woman should have the ability to achieve a tantra orgasm so that she can reach her fullest spiritual potential. The tantra scriptures corroborate that a woman’s complete enlightenment is achieved by the intensity of her orgasmic potential.

A woman must enhance her own orgasmic potential using tantra techniques such as ‘Yoni Vajra Rahasayam‘ and ‘Shwaas Gati Paddhati’. These involve spreading the orgasmic energy throughout the body. It also involves visualizing the energy moving through the insides of the legs and up the knees and thighs to culminate in the vagina (or Yoni). This helps focus the tantra energy. This helps enhance the orgasmic response and is extremely beneficial for women who find it difficult to have orgasms.

Squeezing your yoni nadis without spreading the energy too much would be a good start. As you squeeze some more, you will find the energy from your muladhara (root) chakra building up slowly and intensely. Keep up the squeezing gently, without inducing discomfort. You must not let this energy dissipate – instead, hold it within.

Gently inter-mingle the shakti elements of tantric breath with the Yoni nadis and visualize a huge gust of energy moving rapidly up and down your body, rushing up to your crown chakra, striking it with intense spiritual force and returning to strike your muladhara chakra. This will extend the orgasm to twelve or more orgasms in rapid succession, leading you to higher levels of conscious awareness.

This is a powerful and ancient technique. Do not use it without the proper reverence and context. Tantra for women influences mind, body and soul simultaneously, and should be practiced under the expert supervision of an accomplished tantra teacher. Amateur instructions or unguided self-practice will not benefit you in any way and may even cause much harm.

Put your heart and soul into these techniques – there has to be an aspect of divinity in everything you try to achieve.

Tantra Sex – The Quest For The Woman’s Orgasm

Ancient tantra is all about the divinity of love, and tantra sex is all about the intimacy that is important for a smooth experience in a relationship. It is through intimacy that two people can achieve a soul connection. For this reason, those who learn tantra are in no doubt about the importance of the orgasm.

The absence of orgasms can lead to problems in a couple’s intimate bond. Often, the woman is left unsatisfied. This can be because of the man’s lack of knowledge about tantra sex, or the woman’s inability to overcome her inner blocks. Moreover, today’s modern lifestyles leave couples with no time to truly explore one another – or even themselves.

However, a tantra teacher will tell you that our essential nature clamors for a soul connection. We cannot be content with a mundane, mechanical existence, going through the motions of life without living. The soul yearns to find that special person to connect with completely and totally. In ancient times, people loved to live together in the truest sense, which is why the oldest scriptures on earth – the Vedas – talk about soul connection. Contrary to what we might believe, civilization was highly advanced in those days, and no one lived without this soul connection.

The art of tantra is a product of those same Vedic scriptures. As a bold blend of scientific truths and philosophy which holds the answers to all relationship problems, including those that plague people the most today – sexual disinterest, impotence and general lack of intimacy. Ancient tantra believes that an orgasm is everyone’s birthright, since it is the closest one gets to spiritual ecstasy in temporal life.

Men have it easy for various reasons. It is anatomically easier to for them to become aroused, and society also condones a man’s sexual experimentation. With this illusion of freedom, men seldom realize that their orgasms are mere releases. It is pure biology at work, not the soul weaving its magic. Women, on the other hand, have it tougher because their orgasms are more complicated; also, social norms make it difficult for them to experiment and find themselves.

With the right tantra techniques, a woman can finally experience extremely satisfying orgasms with a man who cares enough about her to take her there.

Tantra Vs. Rape And Sexual Disconnect

Ancient tantra has always maintained that sexual disconnect is akin to a crime. When people turn their backs on inner desires and basic instincts by practicing unnatural abstinence and unleashing its horrific forms upon oneself and others – the ’shakti’ within becomes twisted. This degrades the general human consciousness. Those who practice tantra can resolve this sexual disconnect within themselves.

A tantra master will tell you that pleasure is the fulcrum of every act that we commit. When we are disconnected from this very basic principle of life, we distort our actions, our purposes and our lives. When you learn tantra, you learn not to turn your back on Desire – rather, you will understand that Desire is the backbone by which Tantra stands tall.

Research conducted on serial rapists – frustrated men turned into sexual deviants – reveals that such individuals have a very skewed vision of their basic instincts. For them, a woman is a hated sexual object to be violated and vilified. Through the act of rape, the man’s low self-esteem (turned into intense anger) seeks its revenge for the sexual disconnect within him. Such men do not see the Tantra Goddess in a woman – they are blind to the fact that woman is the true divine entity of the earth. Ancient tantra traditionally upholds her as the divine essence that can take man to higher levels of spiritual consciousness.

When the male essence is not in touch with its inner core, as frequently happens these days, man gives little thought to giving – his primary purpose in life. Instead, he aims to attain release as quickly as possible. This replicates itself in his daily activities as well, creating an escalating disharmony and sometimes leading to cases of molestation, harassment and rape.

Rape is the ultimate crime against the feminine essence – and also against the male essence. Tantra sees it as a deficiency in the man – a disconnect with the greater truth. The father who rapes his daughter seeks escape and distraction from this truth in his own home. The sexual act becomes no different from the act committed by animals – an urge satisfied perfunctorily.

The art of tantra gives humans the blessed opportunity to go beyond the mechanics of the act, and to transform it into a divine experience. When a man rapes a woman, he destroys that experience not only for the woman but also for himself. It is only when the sexual act is consensual and enacted with both partners in sync with one another that true pleasure can be experienced.

Those who learn tantra learn from their tantra teacher the fact that pleasure is the very basis of the sexual act. There is no true pleasure in rape, since the desire to rape is born out of hatred, anger and base lust. The very purpose of the Tantra Goddess – the sexual divine – is defeated when a man forces a woman to engage in sex with him. A man who is connected with his true essence is secure and knows the art of pleasurable living. He has no need to force a woman – his power lies in supreme attraction.

Tantra For Women – An Exercise To Awaken Sensuality

A tragic fact is that the gender with the greatest potential for mind-blowing sexual pleasure, the ultimate erotic tantra experience, usually settles for much less.

As a tantra teacher, I condemn the excessive cultural emphasis placed on a man’s virility, and on the fact that a man’s orgasm is essential for procreation. Ancient tantra has always recognized that women, whose sexual satisfaction has ironically been downplayed for years, are the ones who are capable of multiple orgasms.

Women across cultures have been settling for bland, unsatisfying sex or no sex at all. They are unaware of the latent tantra goddess within, and therefore miss out on or ignore the very thing that could give them what all woman crave:

•    More intimacy and closeness
•    Their partner’s undivided attention, both within and beyond the bedroom
•    Overall life satisfaction
•    Confidence in their erotic appeal and attractiveness
•    Confidence in a secure, happy relationship

Even for women who report a general sense of satisfaction with sex, the ancient art of tantra can open up a whole world of pleasure beyond what they normally experience.

Tantra scriptures believe that sexual satisfaction is vital for strong emotional bonds. Both men and women experience deeper feelings of love and attachment when they share exquisite sexual pleasure and powerful desire.

I give below an esoteric tantra technique known as ‘Shakti ambuddhi paddati’. This ancient technique is designed to increase a woman’s sensual receptiveness and sensitivity to physical and emotional stimulation – in short, to awaken the tantra goddess within her and make her an active, eager and excited partner.

This tantra exercise also acts as a subconscious sexual ‘tonic’ in that it helps balance hormones, create proper sexual function and increase libido in women. This particular exercise for women must be done at night, preferably between 1 to 4 am (the specific time is related to the breathing cycle).

•    Lie on your back with your arms along your sides and relax.
•    Exhale, then inhale deeply, relaxing all the muscles in your body
•    Slowly exhale as you squeeze your 1st and 2nd chakras and the adjoining muscles, trying to pull your energy as deeply inward as you can. Do not strain while squeezing – this tantra exercise is not meant to be exhausting
•    After exhaling, relax your 1st and 2nd chakra muscles for 10 minutes
•    Repeat the inhaling and exhaling as you squeeze 1st and 2nd chakra muscles 10-15 times slowly
•    Relax, then repeat the exercise if you feel comfortable

Tantra for women influences mind, body and soul simultaneously and is best practiced under the careful guidance and supervision of an experienced tantra teacher. Amateur instructions or attempts to self-practice tantra will not result in optimum benefits. It requires the expert guidance and supervision of a qualified tantra master to get the most out of such techniques, and to prevent possible physical and emotional harm.

A Tantra Goddess Called Rani Laxmibai

Most would not attribute any elements of ancient Tantra to Rani Laxmibai – the Queen of Jhansi – who brandished her sword during India’s First War of Independence. However, an experienced Tantra master cannot fail to see a Tantra Goddess behind the warrior.

At a time when women seldom found a place at the forefront of politics, this unmistakeable spiritual goddess gave her heart, body and soul to her country. This divine aspect is a side of her that history has overlooked. A Tantra teacher will not fail to note that the Queen of Jhansi was a woman of immense sensual power… a power that she channelled into warfare.

History may have overlooked her great beauty, her cascading hair that fell to her thighs – hair that was kept at bay as she took the male mantle of a ruler upon her shoulders. However, an exponent of Hindu Tantra will recognize and bow before the Tantra energy of this woman.

She is the woman who proves that feminism then was not the same concept as we know it today. At that time, this Tantric avatar of a woman did not charge in battle to prove anything to anyone about her abilities as a woman. She did what she, a woman of great responsibility and innate Tantric power, knew she had to do – fight for her people. This is true power … the power that does not need to be shown, but shines through of its own accord. It is the very essence of ancient Tantra in powerful, fluid and dynamic motion.

Yes, Rani Laxmibai was a true Tantra Goddess, fuelled by largely unfulfilled desires that she translated into a flawless act of Tantra love onto the battlefield. She had only just been married when her husband passed away, leaving her unloved and childless.

According to Tantra philosophy, a virgin is to be worshipped – and not without good reason. A woman can best utilize her power if her sensual divine is left untapped. A virgin girl who has never had relief from her erotic desires has the power to transform those desires into whatever she wants. For Rani Laxmibai, her untapped erotic power turned into zeal to protect her kingdom and country.

When left without any semblance of a family life, Rani Laxmibai turned to those considerations that could keep her life together – her kingdom and her people. It would not be completely accurate to say that her life at that time was devoid of any intimate relations, but fulfilment was elusive. Her maternal core adopted her people and ruled them with love and care.

In Tantra philosophy, it is understood that a woman is a passive-active force, while a man is active-passive force, and so they balance out very well. The degrees of intensity vary from woman to woman – but for Rani Laxmibai, it was high … and that is this intensity she displayed on the battlefield.

Tantra philosophy shows how sensual energy – the strongest manifesting energy we have – can create a Tantra Goddess out of any woman and bring a man in touch with his creative feminine side. If you need an example of true Tantra manifestation – the epitome of a sensual Goddess coming into her own with her power – look no further than the Rani of Jhansi, Rani Laxmibai.
