Tantra Vs. Rape And Sexual Disconnect
Ancient tantra has always maintained that sexual disconnect is akin to a crime. When people turn their backs on inner desires and basic instincts by practicing unnatural abstinence and unleashing its horrific forms upon oneself and others – the ‘shakti’ within becomes twisted. When a man rapes a woman, he destroys that experience not only for the woman but also for himself. It is only when the sexual act is consensual and enacted with both partners in sync with one another that true pleasure can be experienced.
